A new start and starting over...

This is your mom with her then friend Shelly. We met in Renton at a bar we were performing at as pirates. She was a coworker with Lollypop. Here she's at the Great Pirate Party on the Wawona. I was swept away by her, but we were involved with others at the time. I really wanted to be with her that night, but the timing wasn't right. Shortly after, she joined the International Pirates and we became good friends and singing partners, much to the consternation of those around us. She made a great pirate that night. Still does!

This was shortly after we started dating. Both of us had bailed out of wrong relationships and in the process of consoling one another, found out that we were ideal together. She's my best best friend. We were married at Treasure Island Resort in Las Vegas on Jan. 8, 1994, about three months after we started dating. Then we spent the first three years together all the time. Night and day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. And we started to talk about you for the first time.
